Pineapple Fried Rice & A Well-Deserved Celebration

Shelby Fontana (lk)
On a Thursday evening (fittingly the day before SENIOR Skip Day) senior international students were treated to dinner at Wasabi in Fort Pierce, where the pineapple fried rice was a crowd favorite! Mrs. Fontana, Mrs. Fykes and Mrs. Wald joined the festivities to celebrate seven graduating international students and all of their accomplishments at Saint Edward’s School. “I am honestly in awe of what these students do--traveling to another country, attending school without the immediate support of their family and friends, in a second language no less, and, with some students arriving as early as 9th grade. Their endeavors are undeniably worthy of acknowledgment,” said Mrs. Fontana. A special shout-out to Mrs. Fykes and Mrs. Wald who play an invaluable role in their successes!
