English Poem Reflects on a World Without Fish

To prepare to read World Without Fish, sixth graders had a few minutes to jot down any thoughts about what a world without fish would look like. In that short time, Matthew Barrett wrote this poem:

What would we do?
Nothing to eat,
Nothing to chew!
What would we look at, down in the sea?
Oh gosh, please tell me,
What would we see?
