Eighth Grade Boys Basketball Wins MCAC Final

On 1/16/20, the eighth grade boys basketball team competed in the Mid-Coast Athletic Conference Final, hosted by the Pine School in Hobe Sound. The Pirates finished their hard-fought season with a conference championship victory over the Knights, 31-28. 

Outscoring their opponents by an average of 18 points, the team displayed remarkable teamwork on the court, which contributed to their success. Luke Damiani played tough in the middle and finished with 8 points. Even though he was tightly covered the entire game, Reed Sternberg also managed to score 8 points. Harrison Hardin chipped in all 7 of his points in the 4th quarter and sealed the victory with 3 crucial free throws. 

Congratulations to the Pirates as they end their season with a 8-1 record!
