Varsity Girls Weightlifting Heading to Regionals
On 1/22/20, the varsity girls weightlifting team traveled to Frostproof to compete in the FHSAA Class 1A District 15 tournament being held at Frostproof High School.
In the 139 lb. weight class, Meagan Baker (8th grade) went 6 for 6, with personal best lifts of 100 lbs. on bench, 100 lbs. on clean & jerk for a personal record total of 200 lbs.
Grace Rodriguez (8th grade) secured 4th place at 101 with 70/70/140.
Tyler Colgan (8th grade) placed 6th at 101 with 65/70/135.
Both Rodriguez and Colgan have qualified to compete in the FHSAA Class 1A Regional meet.
