Varsity Boys Basketball Competes in SSAC Tournament

The varsity boys basketball recently played back-to-back games at the Sunshine State Athletic Conference (SSAC) Tournament held at Winter Haven Fieldhouse in Winter Haven.

On 1/24/20, the Pirates took on Zephyrhills Christian Academy. A competitive game until the finish, the Pirates fell to the Warriors 67-60.

Leading the Pirates for the first matchup were Ty Redmon and AJ Jennings, each with 16 points.

The Pirates returned to the Winter Haven courts on 1/25/20, this time facing off against Boca Raton Christian School. Showing impressive skills on the court, the Pirates defeated the Blazers 56-41.

AJ Jennings led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 20 points. Also racking up double digits for the team were Ty Redmon with 11 points and Connor Wolfe with 10 points.


Next game is Senior Night on 1/28/20 at 7:00 PM versus Morningside Academy.
