Top-Ranked Varsity Boys Soccer Heading to Regionals

On 2/7/20, varsity boys soccer competed at home against Pine School in the finals for the title of district champion. An enthralling competition until the end, the Pirates conquered the Knights 5-4 in overtime. The Pirates are now seeded #1 in the region and advance to the Class 2A-2 Regional Quarterfinals.

Leading the Pirates on the field during the regular play, Drew Sternberg racked up 2 goals and an assist, but it was Sternberg's 3rd goal in the first overtime that helped the Pirates clinch their victory. Also helping drive the Pirate team closer to their victory were Jack Zoltak and Leon Main with a goal apiece.

Next game is the Class 2A Region 2 Quarterfinals on 2/12/20 being held at Saint Edward's School versus All Saints Academy, starting at 6:00 PM.
