Varsity Girls Tennis Celebrates Successful Season Start
The varsity girls tennis team traveled to Vero Beach Tennis & Fitness Club for their season opener on 2/10/20 against Master's Academy of Vero Beach. The Lady Pirates dominated the courts and defeated the Patriots 4-3.
Winning singles matches for the girls were Lily Strauss (7-5, 3-6, 10-6), Amira Hussamy (7-5, 6-3), Zayna Shaikh (6-4, 6-1), and Neenah Brown (6-1, 6-1).
Sophia Tripodi won her exhibition singles match (6-0, 6-2).
