Varsity Girls Lacrosse Triumphant in Season Opener
Varsity girls lacrosse hosted their season opener in Pirate Stadium on 2/21/20. The Lady Pirates, determined to make a statement against equally ranked Windemere Prep School, won the contest 21-9.
Despite a slow start, the Lady Pirates came together midway through the first half and produced an entertaining game, thanks to their solid defense. The defense combined for 6 caused turnovers, and Savanna Ware led the team with 8 draw controls.
