Varsity Baseball Conquers Lions
The varsity baseball team took on Covenant Christian School at home on 2/27/20. The Pirates emerged victorious over the Lions, winning 6-3.
Pitcher Aidan Burdick helped earn the win for the Pirate team, pitching four and two-thirds innings. Burdick allowed just two hits and one run, while striking out eight and walking one. Relief pitcher Corey Richey threw two and one-third innings to secure the Pirate victory. At bat, Casey Richey led his teammates with two hits in four, driving in one rbi.
