Kindergarten Owl Pellet Dissection

Paula Given & Emma Puttick (lk)
Kindergarten has been enjoying learning all about birds. Students have been focusing their bird study on birds of prey. One of their favorite raptors to study has been the owl. This week, students were able to use an owl pellet bone chart to determine what tasty morsel the owl ate for dinner! Students explored many different bone shapes and sizes from voles, rodents and small birds!
