Ricky Savage and Ford Norris Celebrated by IR County

MJ (lk)
In an inaugural ceremony honoring local athletes this week, Ricky Savage and Ford Norris were honored by the Indian River County Commission. Athletes from Vero Beach High School and Sebastian River also took part in a celebration that recognized their commitment to their sport and their academics. The pep bands from the local high schools kicked off the celebration with lively music and fun competition, and each athlete had a moment to talk about their sport and their future goals in college and beyond. Coach Doug Bailey sang the praises of both boys as athletes and as young men. Their official signing ceremony is scheduled for November 9, so watch the school calendar and plan on cheering on these young men when they officially announce their collegiate commitments.
