School Spirit Abounds from Varsity Cheerleaders at Pine Crest Game

On 9/5/24, the varsity cheerleaders came out in full force to support the varsity football team in Pirate Stadium against the Pine Crest Panthers. The cheer team led Pirate fans in chants and cheers from the sidelines as they helped encourage the football team to the overwhelming 30-7 victory over the Panthers.

The cheerleaders performed some of their favorite cheers throughout the game, including "Blue and White" and "Pirate Rumble." The team also introduced a new cheer called "Yell It Like a Pirate." At halftime, the cheer squad debuted their first dance routine of the season midfield to Rihanna's song "SOS" before returning to the sidelines to energize the crowd once again.

Creating a new tradition this year, the cheer team formed a kickline to perform synchronized high kicks every time the Pirate team scored. The actual score on the scoreboard for the Pirates determined the number of kicks that the dedicated cheerleaders would execute each time.

Next game is away on 9/13/24 at Okeechobee High School in Okeechobee, starting at 7:00 PM.
