Varsity Volleyball Nets Win Over Pineapple Cove

The varsity volleyball team went head-to-head at home against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirates won handily against the Patriots in 3 sets: 25-14, 25-13, 25-16.

Leading the Pirate team in aces and kills were Grace Clemente with 3 aces, 6 kills, and 3 digs and CJ Fykes with 3 aces, 6 kills, 3 assists, and 3 digs. Also leading in aces were Alice Crean with 3 aces, 3 kills, and 2 digs and Grace Fykes with 3 aces. Margaret Fykes led in assists with 20 and also put up 1 kill, 1 ace, and 2 digs; and Nevin Waddell topped the stats in digs with 4 and grabbed 4 kills and 1 ace. Maddie Moscrip contributed 1 ace, 2 assists, 3 kills, and 2 digs toward the Pirate victory, and Alexandra Jefferson netted 1 ace, 2 assists, 2 kills, and 2 digs. Halle Grella recorded 1 kill and 1 dig, and providing 1 kill apiece were teammates Khlieo Perez and Makena Rodriguez.
 
Next game is away on 9/2/25 at Legacy High School in Port St. Lucie, starting at 6:00 PM.
