MS Girls Volleyball's Silver Team Holds Intra-Squad Match

On 9/18/25, at home in the Wachter Activities Cneter with a very enthusiastic crowd of classmates cheering them on, the middle school girls volleyball's silver team competed in the Annual Intra-Squad Match. Coach Wanda's team went head-to-head with Coach Bird's team in  two very close and well-played sets. The teams traded point-for-point for the two sets, with Coach Bird's team ultimately pulling ahead and winning both sets 25-22 and 25-19. 
 
Coach Wanda's team had strong serving from Lillian Pfennig, who had 8 service points, 2 aces, 1 dig, and 1 kill. Lilly Essaye served strong for 5 points, 4 of them being aces, and also contributed 6 digs. Lily Postlethwaite, Kaelyn Miller, and Bella Costa combined for 9 service points, with each serving for aces. Tessa Buza spearheaded the defensive effort with 11 digs, and teammates Miller and Postlethwaite contributed 6 digs and 3 digs, respectively. 
 
Coach Bird's team was led in serving by Eugenia Robledo Pretelt with 7 aces and Annabelle Previlus with 5 aces, and both players contributed kills as well. Davis Toole contributed 3 assists, 1 kill, 5 serving points, and two aces. Laura Lenzner played strong in the back court and also fed two assists to the team's hitters. Camille Torres had 1 kill and an ace and played great defense for the team, along with Harper Padgett, who had 6 service points, 1 ace, 2 kills, and 3 assists.
 
Next game is away on 9/29/25 at Master's Academy of Vero Beach, starting at 4:00 PM.
