Varsity Volleyball Takes Down Sharks

On 9/30/25, varsity volleyball traveled across town to Sebastian to take on Sebastian River High School. The Pirates took down the Sharks in straight sets: 25-16, 25-22, 25-16.

Grace Clemente led the Pirates in kills with 16 and blocks with 2, and also contributed 3 digs. Grace Fykes, who led the team in digs with 21, also put up 4 aces and 2 assists, while Margaret Fykes, who led the team in assists with 36, recorded 1 kill, 10 digs, and 1 block. Makena Rodriguez amassed 6 kills, 3 aces, and 12 digs for the Pirates, and teammate Nevin Waddell collected 10 kills, 2 aces, and 14 digs. Also helping bring home the win. for the Pirates were Alice Crean with 4 kills, 1 dig, and 1 block; CJ Fykes with 2 aces and 5 digs; Maddie Moscrip with 2 aces and 2 digs; and Khlieo Perez with 2 kills.
 
Next game is away on 10/2/25 at Heritage High School in Palm Bay, starting at 6:30 PM.
