Varsity Girls Weightlifting Shows Great Results at Frostproof Meet

On 12/2/25, the varsity girls weightlifting team traveled to Frostproof to go head-to-head in a meet against Frostproof High School. The Pirate team scored 13 points in Olympic and 11 points in Traditional to the Bulldogs' 77 points in Olympic and 79 in Traditional.

In her division, junior Lily Browning went 6for6 in Olympic, placing 1st (55/60/115), and placed 1st in Traditional (60/60/120).

Freshman Katie Padgett lifted 45* 55/100 in Olympic and 55/60/115 in Traditional and secured 1st place finishes in both of her events.

In her division, junior Valentina Henriquez placed 2nd in the Olympic category with 60*/75*/135 and finished 3rd in Traditional with 75*/65/140.
