Varsity Baseball Stifles Marathon in Shutout

On 3/7/27, the varsity baseball team traveled to Marathon to face off against Marathon High School. Pirate pitchers Caden Freedman and Graham Hutton combined to throw a shutout against the Dolphins as the Pirates defeated their opponents 7-0.

At the mound, Ca. Freedman struck out 10 batters on the day. The starter also gave up 3 hits and 0 runs over 6 and 2/3 innings while walking 2. At bat, the Pirates scored 5 runs on 3 hits in the top of the 7th inning to seal the deal. Colton Freedman singled, scoring 2 runs; Nolan Ange singled, scoring 1 run; and Rodney Stephens singled, scoring 2 runs.
 
Next game is away on 3/17/26 against Merritt Island Christian School, starting at 5:00 PM at USSSA Space Coast Complex in Melbourne.
