Varsity Boys Lacrosse Grounds Falcons in District Semis

On 4/15/26, the varsity boys lacrosse team competed against Jensen Beach High School at home in Pirate Stadium in the Class 1A District 8 Semifinals. The Pirates soared over the Falcons on the field, netting a clear 14-2 victory to advance to the District Finals.

Taking charge at the helm for the Pirate team, Connor O'Brien recorded 6 goals and 1 assist. Turner Barnett churned out 5 goals and 2 assists toward the victory. Brady McCoy netted 2 goals and 1 assist, and teammate Charlie Corrigan provided 1 goal and 1 assist. Leading the team in assists was Chris Campbell with 3, and Cole Holland added 1 assist in the win. Matthew Vatland remained dominant in faceoffs with 6 wins. Also providing the Pirates with faceoff wins were Jackson Parker (3), Bobby Varricchio (2), and Rudy Radocaj (1). At the net, Edwin Provancher made 7 saves on 9 shots on goal.

Additional gameday stats for the Pirates include 30 shots on goal and 27 groundballs.
