Varsity Girls Basketball Overcomes Lady Titans

On 1/12/21, the varsity girls basketball team went on the road to face Odyssey Charter School in Palm Bay. Although the Lady Pirates had a slow beginning, they managed to turn things around in the second quarter, taking a 31-14 lead at halftime.  Never faltering, the Lady Pirates maintained their lead in the second half, and they went on to defeat the Lady Titans 54-39.

Leading the Lady Pirates in scoring were Alexa Soderman with 17 points and Raina Duggal with 16 points. Teammate Dhanika Perez contributed to the Lady Pirate victory with 14 points. Also putting points on the board for their team were Maria Hawkins (2 points), Chase Nelson (2 points), Karis Crookshank (1 point), Imani Williams (1 point) and Gaby Collazo (1 point).

 
Next game is away on 1/13/21 at South Fork High School in Stuart, starting at 5:30 PM.
