Varsity Girls Tennis Shuts Down Lady Golden Rams

On 2/25/21, the varsity girls tennis team went up against John Carroll Catholic School in a home meet at the Riverside Park Tennis Courts. In a great showing, the Lady Pirates overcame the Lady Golden Rams, defeating them 7-0. The Lady Pirate team's record is now 3-1 for the season.

Winning singles matches for the girls were Lily Strauss (8-3), Amira Hussamy (8-1), Zayna Shaikh (8-1), Catherine Caldwell (8-6) and Neenah Brown (8-0).

The team of Strauss/Brown won their #1 doubles match 8-2. Winning the #2 doubles match and securing the sweep for the Lady Pirates was Shaikh/Caldwell (8-1).

Winning the exhibition doubles matches for the Lady Pirates were the teams of Sophia Tripodi/Katie Croom (8-1), Jasmine Nunez/Caroline Zoltak (8-1) and Iso Kennedy/Dhanika Perez (8-1).

 
Next match is at home on 3/2/21 at Riverside Park Tennis Courts versus Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, starting at 3:30 PM.
