Varsity Girls Tennis Takes Down Lady Buccaneers
The varsity girls tennis team faced The Benjamin School on 3/31/21 at the Riverside Park Tennis Courts. In an exciting match-up until the end, the Lady Pirates persevered on the court against the Lady Buccaneers, defeating their opponents 4-3.
Winning singles matches for the girls were Amira Hussamy (8-6), Zayna Shaikh (8-4) and Neenah Brown (8-1).
In a thrilling tiebreak, the #1 doubles team of Lily Strauss/Hussamy clinched the ultimate victory for the Lady Pirates team with their win over the Lady Buccaneers duo 9-8 (7-5).
