Varsity Girls Basketball Hosts Lady Eagles
On 12/17/22, the varsity girls basketball team hosted Calvary Chapel Academy in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities for one last game before the winter break. After a slow first half, the Lady Pirates made a valiant effort in the second half to cut the Lady Eagle lead to 7 points. Despite their best efforts on the court, the Lady Pirates couldn't reel in the Lady Eagles and fell 34-49.
Dhanika Perez led the Lady Pirates on the floor with 12 points. Following closely were Taylor Wolfe with 8 points and Gaby Collazo with 6. Also scoring for the Lady Pirates were Sommer Soderman (3), Tirzah Boulding (2), Shaniya Bryant (2), and Chase Nelson (1).
