Varsity Girls Basketball Sinks Senior Night Win Over John Carroll

On 1/25/23, the varsity girls basketball team celebrated their Senior Night with a game against John Carroll Catholic High School in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. With teamwork and tenacious defense, the Lady Pirates took a 6-2 lead against the Lady Golden Rams at the end of the first quarter. Never looking back, the Lady Pirates stopped the Lady Rams on the court, winning 30-22.

Recording a game-high score of 15 points, Aiala Ruiz de Arbulo Sagasti also provided strong defense on the floor for the Lady Pirates. Dhanika Perez netted 6 points toward the victory, and teammate Gaby Collazo contributed 4 points. Taylor Wolfe tallied 3 points for the team, and Adterria Holloway added 2.

 
Next game is the D5 Alive Tournament on 1/27/23 against Jupiter Christian School, starting at 3:00 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
