Shut Out by Varsity Boys Soccer Ensures District Semifinals Advancement
The varsity boys soccer team hosted their 2A District 8 Quarterfinals game against Merritt Island Christian School on 1/26/23 on the Michael J. Mersky Field. The unstoppable Pirates tamed the Mustangs on the field to win 8-0 and advance to the District 8 Semifinals.
Pato Argote recorded 3 goals and 1 assist for the Pirates, and teammate Matthew Vatland netted 3 goals as well. Brogan Buck added 1 goal and 4 assists toward the Pirate victory. William Kourakis contributed 2 assists, and Jah Jeune chipped in 1 assist. Brandon Cochrane also nabbed a goal in the successful night for the Pirate team.
