Varsity Volleyball Commands Victory Over Master's Academy on Senior Night

The varsity volleyball team hosted Master's Academy of Vero Beach for their Senior Night game on 10/5/23. The determined Pirates, who played to a packed house, never waivered on the court and defeated the Patriots in straight sets: 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Seniors Elliotte Kahler and Meagan Baker saw a lot of action on the court, with Kahler tallying 1 kill, 22 assists, 1 ace, and 10 digs for the night and Baker recording 3 kills, 1 assist, 2 aces, 9 digs, and 2 blocks for the Pirate team. Makena Rodriguez, who led the team in digs with 18, also contributed 5 kills and 1 ace toward the victory. CJ Fykes recorded the most kills on the night with 9 and also added 2 aces and 10 digs.
Alice Crean tallied 4 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs, and 1 block for the Pirates, and Sommer Soderman recorded 6 digs.  Teammates Grace Griffeth, with 1 dig and 1 block, and Khlieo Perez, with 1 kill and 1 block, also helped round out the successful night for the Pirates.
 
Next game is away on 10/9/23 at John Carroll Catholic High School in Fort Pierce, starting at 6:00 PM.
