Varsity Girls Basketball Competes in District Semifinals

On 2/7/24, the varsity girls basketball team traveled to Port St. Lucie to take on Morningside Academy in the Class 2A District 13 Semifinals. The Pirates took an early 7-point lead, with the Eagles coming back to tie the game 7-7 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Eagles turned up their defense at the half to seize a 26-18 lead, and the Pirates trailed 26-35 going into the 4th quarter. Despite their best efforts on the court, the Pirates ultimately fell to the Eagles 36-40 to finish their season.
