Varsity Boys & Girls Tennis Compete on the Road Against MCC

The varsity boys and varsity girls tennis teams traveled to Melbourne on 2/27/24 to take on Melbourne Central Catholic High School. Both teams fought hard on the courts but ultimately fell to the Hustlers, with the boys being defeated 2-5 and the girls narrowly dropping 3-4.

For the boys team, James Peponis won his #5 singles match 8-4. Securing a victory a #2 doubles was the team of Nicky Colontrelle and Rushil Sura.

Winning singles matches for the girls team were #1 Sofia Corominas de Wit (8-4), #3 Emmery Clarkson (8-6), and #5 Charlotte Peponis (8-6). 

Winning exhibition singles matches for the girls team were Mia Maldonado (8-0), Chandler Higdon (8-1), and Dhanika Perez (8-1).
 
Next game is at home on 2/28/24 versus John Carroll Catholic High School, starting at 3:30 PM at Riverside Park Tennis Courts.
