Varsity Baseball Sees Rematch at MCC
The varsity baseball team traveled to Melbourne Central Catholic High School in Melbourne on 4/17/24 to take on the Hustlers. The Pirates kept the Hustlers to mostly low-scoring innings but ultimately were defeated by their opponents 1-16.
Jaden Jackson scored the lone run for the Pirates and stole 2 bases. Trey Dunlap stole 1 base. In field stats, Noah Hernandez contributed 2 putouts and 1 assist, and teammates Graham Hutton, Patrick Gross, and Jackson recorded 2 putouts each. Liam Dyer and Reid Morris also had 1 putout apiece. At the mound, Dunlap, who pitched for 3 innings, recorded 2 strikeouts.
