Varsity Girls Soccer Ties Patriots in Thrilling Match-up
On 12/3/25, the varsity girls soccer team hosted Master's Academy of Vero on the Michael J. Mersky Field. Although the Patriots grabbed the first goal of the game, the Pirates came together on the field to fire back 2 goals and take the 2-1 lead going into halftime. In the second half, the Patriots moved ahead of the Pirates 2-3 in the nailbiter, but Lilly Jensen executed a beautiful shot at the goal before the match ended to help the Pirates tie the game 3-3.
Jensen scored all 3 goals for the Pirates in the game, and Leah Chin provided 1 assist. At the goal, Mia Perez made 5 saves to help keep the Patriots at bay.
