The varsity boys basketball team headed to Port St. Lucie on 1/9/26 to take on Morningside Academy. The Pirates overtook the Eagles on the court to win 60-53.
Cody Simmonds sounded the charge for the Pirate team with 25 points, 4 assists, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. Jayzere Cannon collected 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Cole Register recorded 8 points, 1 assist, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal; and Daniel Clemente, who led the Pirates in rebounds with 11, also brought in 4 points and 1 block. Daniel Ciceron put up 3 points and 1 assist, and Trey Dunlap amassed 2 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 block. Wyatt Burdick saw 1 assist and 3 rebounds, and Kaleb Jones added 1 assist.
