#7 Varsity Girls Lacrosse Overpowers #4 Raiders

On 3/20/26, the varsity girls lacrosse team, which has climbed in FHSAA Class 1A ranks to #7, faced off against St. Thomas Aquinas High School at home in Pirate Stadium. The Pirates dominated the field against the Raiders, toppling their opponents 13-4.

Margaret Fykes led the Pirate scorers with 4 goals, followed closely by Aerin Russell with 3 goals. Recording 2 goals apiece were Caitlin Moscrip and Lily O'Brien. Grace Fykes contributed 1 goal and 1 assist, and Brooke Moore grabbed 1 goal for the Pirate team. Providing vital support on the field was CJ Fykes with 3 assists, and teammates Cami Colontrelle and Kelly Lynch added 1 assist each. At the line, M. Fykes saw 6 draw controls. Bebe Busch-Dunford recorded her 61st career forced turnover, setting a new school record for that category in the Modern Era (2005-2026). Maddie Moscrip had 2 caused turnovers on 2 interceptions and completed 6 saves at goal for a 60% save rate.
