Substantial Victory on Road for Varsity Baseball Against PSL

On 2/27/26, the varsity baseball team traveled to Port St. Lucie to play against Port St. Lucie High School. The Pirates jumped out to the lead in the top of the 1st inning after Reid Morris drew a walk, scoring 1 run, and Nolan Ange singled, scoring 2 runs. Morris was on fire for the Pirate team, doubling in the 2nd inning to score 1 run and hitting a home run to left field in the 4th inning to score 3. The Jaguars were no match for the Pirates on the field, as the Pirates walked away the victors 25-6.

Caden Freedman earned the win on the mound for Saint Edward's, surrendering 1 hit and 1 run (0 earned) over 2 innings, and striking out 3 and walking 2.  Trey Dunlap tossed 1 inning of shutout ball for the Pirates in relief, surrendering 1 hit, striking out 3, and walking none.

The Pirate team tallied 15 hits in the game against the Jaguars. Ca. Freedman and Ange each collected 3 hits for the team, and AJ Francis collected 2 hits. Colton Freedman and Jack Torresson led the team with 2 walks apiece.
