Varsity Girls Lacrosse Subdues Lions in Last Regular Season Game

The varsity girls lacrosse team played their last regular season home game in Pirate Stadium on 4/2/26 versus King's Academy. The Pirates were fired up on the field, claiming a 15-5 victory over the Lions and closing out what has been stupendous regular season play with a 10-3 season record.

Margaret Fykes and Caitlin Moscrip led the charge for the Pirate team with 4 goals and 1 assist apiece. Lily O'Brien followed with 3 goals and 1 assist. Recording 1 goal and 2 assists each for the Pirates were CJ Fykes and Grace Fykes. Aerin Russell contributed 1 goal and 1 assist toward the victory, and Kelly Lynch added 1 goal. M. Fykes topped draw control wins with 6, and Moscrip provided 5 draw controls. C. Fykes collected 2 draw controls, and O'Brien added 1. Madeline Richards led the Pirates in forced turnovers with 2, and teammates M. Fykes, Lynch, and Moscrip each brought in 1. At the net, Abbey Carter had 5 saves for a 50% save rate.
