Varsity Boys Lacrosse Takes Down Royals in Regional Quarterfinal

The varsity boys lacrosse team competed against The First Academy of Orlando on 4/21/26 in Pirate Stadium for the Class 1A Region 2 Quarterfinals. The Pirates threw the Royals for a loop on the field, crushing their opponents 16-9 to advance to the Regional Semifinals.

Leading the charge to victory for the Pirate team were Turner Barnett with 5 goals and Connor O'Brien with 2 goals and 7 assists. Charlie Corrigan netted 3 goals for the Pirate team, and Brady McCoy recorded 2 goals and 2 assists. Chris Campbell provided 2 goals and 1 assist, and teammates Syrus Cooper and Shane Carroll each added 1 goal toward the win. Matthew Vatland was triumphant with faceoff wins, collecting 12, and Jackson Parker contributed 2 faceoff wins. At the net, Edwin Provancher made 5 saves on 9 shots on goal, and Will Fox made 3 saves on 7 shots on goal.

Additional Pirate gameday stats include 37 shots on goal and 22 groundballs.
 
Next game is away for the Class 1A Region 2 Semifinal on 4/28/26 against The Benjamin School, starting at 6:00 PM in Palm Beach Gardens.
