Regional Quarterfinal Showdown Sees Varsity Girls Lacrosse Emerge as Victors

On 4/22/26, the varsity girls lacrosse team traveled to Palm Beach Gardens to face The Benjamin School in a rematch, this time in the Class 1A Region 4 Quarterfinals. Hungry for the win, the Pirates pushed past the Buccaneers to claim the 11-6 victory and ensure their bid for the Regional Semifinals.

Caitlin Moscrip led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 3 goals. Lily O'Brien and Margaret Fykes each contributed 2 goals and 1 assist for the Pirate team, and Blair Moore recorded 2 goals. CJ Fykes collected 1 goal and 1 assist, and Aerin Russell netted 1 goal. Leading the Pirates in assists was Grace Fykes with 2, and Bebe Busch-Dunford provided 1 assist in the Pirates' successful night. Busch-Dunford ensured 2 forced turnovers against the Buccaneers, and teammates Moore, Leah Chin, and Maddie Moscrip also saw 1 forced turnover apiece. At the goal, M. Moscrip had 8 saves for a 57% save rate.
 
Next game is the Class 1A Region 4 Semifinals on 4/29/26 against American Heritage of Delray Beach, starting at 6:00 PM in Delray Beach.
