Varsity Baseball Goes Up Against Jupiter Christian in Regional Quarterfinal

On 4/25/26, the varsity baseball team hosted Jupiter Christian School for the Class 1A Region 2 Semifinals on Blue Diamond Field. The Pirates got on the board in the 1st inning after Caden Freedman doubled, scoring 1 run. Saint Edward's added to their early lead in the bottom of the 3rd inning after Ca. Freedman singled to right field, Reid Morris flew out, and Colton Freedman singled to right field, each scoring 1 run. Despite leading by as many as 4 runs, the Pirates fell to the Eagles 7-11, closing out what has been an impressive season for the young Pirate team with a 16-4 record.  

Pitcher Ca. Freedman stepped on the hill first for the Pirates, allowing 5 hits and 4 runs (3 earned) over 5 and 2/3 innings, striking out 6 and walking 3.

The Pirates tallied 9 hits in the game, with Ca. Freedman, Trey Dunlap, and Nolan Ange each collecting 2 hits. Ca. Freedman and AJ Francis each drove in two runs for Saint Edward's.
