SES Thespian Troupe Earns Top Honors at District Festival

Before Winter Break, the Saint Edward’s Thespian Troupe 6011 showcased their talent at the District 15 Thespians – Thespy Festival at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, earning outstanding results across a wide range of individual and group events. Events earning a Superior rating are eligible to advance to the State Thespian Festival in Tampa this March. The following students qualified for state competition:
  • Athena Collaros – Monologue
  • Lily Browning and Sophia Cetrulo – Duet Acting Scene
  • Larissa Peterson and Ariel Sochaczevski – Duet Musical
  • Sophia Cetrulo, Athena Collaros and Rhyme Terranova – Ensemble Acting Scene
  • Lily Browning, Sophia Cetrulo and Larissa Peterson – Small Group Musical

In addition, Pizette Del Bianco, Sophie Dvoskin and Aarian Shah each earned Excellent ratings for their performances. The troupe has also been selected to advance one Excellent-rated event to the State Festival, bringing the total to six events that will represent Saint Edward’s on the state stage.
