Stealing Styles: Practicing the Techniques of Practicing Artists

Ms. Sherrier (lk)
The Honors Studio was tasked with creating their own artwork in the style of a practicing artist. Students practiced artists' styles in the format of a process page where they tried out the style before creating their unique artwork. Some students merged two styles together, and some chose a more personal approach where they created something meaningful to them but in another artist’s style. This project requires visual research to explore different methods of art-making.
