Opening Day Thriller for MS Boys Basketball's Blue Team

On 11/14/22, the blue team for middle school boys basketball opened their season on the road against Storm Grove Middle School in Vero Beach. The Pirates staged an outstanding defense and timely offense against the Stingrays to secure the win 26-22. Despite falling behind twice by 8 points, the team rallied to chip away at the deficit and iced the victory with free throws.

On the court, Jayzere Cannon and Trey Dunlap displayed great leadership for the Pirate team. Teammate Charlie Corrigan exhibited a great defensive effort for the Pirates. Rory Barton helped seal the victory for the Pirate team with his game-winning free throws.

 
Next game is away on 11/16/22 in Fort Pierce against Saint Anastasia Catholic School, starting at 5:00 PM.
