On the Road Victory for MS Boys Basketball's Blue Team

On 11/16/22, the blue team for middle school boys basketball headed to Fort Pierce to take on Saint Anastasia Catholic School. In a competitive match-up, the teams fought fiercely on the court, ending the 1st quarter in a low-scoring 5-5. The Pirates took control of the game in the 2nd quarter with full-court defensive pressure against the Rams and entered half-time ahead 18-6. The Rams rallied back in the 3rd quarter, and the Pirates trailed at the end of the quarter. The determined Pirates pushed through in the 4th quarter to regain the lead and defeated the Rams 32-22.

Leading the Pirates on the court was Jayzere Cannon. Jack Curley led the scoreboard for the Pirate team, and smart defensive plays by Rory Barton and Charlie Corrigan saw the Pirate team bring home another victory.

Next game is at home on 1/18/22 against Master's Academy of Vero Beach, starting at 6:00 PM in the Wachter Activities Center.
