MS Boys Basketball's Navy Team Vanquishes Patriots in Thriller

The navy team for middle school boys basketball hosted Master's Academy of Vero Beach on 11/18/22 in the Wachter Activities Center. Trailing most of the game, the Pirates kept it close against the Patriots and pulled within one point with just seconds to go in the final quarter.  Gaining possession of the ball,  the Pirates dribbled down the court to take a final shot. A quick rebound by Kayleb Redmon allowed him to sink the game-winning shot just as the clock expired, with the Pirates defeating the Patriots 20-19.

The navy team saw all 11 players contribute to the win with either a steal, rebound, assist, or basket. Redmon led the way on the court for the Pirates with 6 points, and Chris Curley followed closely with 5. Teddy Donohoe chipped in 3 points towards the Pirate victory, and teammates Cyprian McIntosh and Chase Colontrelle added 2 points each.

Next game is away on 1/29/22 against Jupiter Christian School in Jupiter, starting at 4:00 PM.
