JV Volleyball Sweeps Cocoa Beach in 1st Game of Season

The junior varsity volleyball team traveled to Cocoa Beach High School to face off against the Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School Minutemen for their first game of the season. The determined Pirates sailed past their opponents on the court, winning in straight sets: 25-16, 25-16.

The victory was a true team effort, with the Pirates working together on the floor to ensure the victory against the Minutemen. Halle Grella led the team in kills with 8 and netted 2 aces, and Lily O'Brien led the team in aces with 7 and added 4 kills toward the victory.

Additional gameday highlights: Joselyn Martin - 3 aces, 1 kill; Cairi Infanzon - 3 aces; Charlotte Folger - 2 aces, 1 kill; Jenessa Kendall - 1 kill; Mia Maldonado - 1 kill.
Next game is away on 8/28/24 at Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in Palm Bay, starting at 5:00 PM.
