JV Baseball Firing on All Cylinders Against Sharks

The junior varsity baseball team hosted Sebastian River High School on Blue Diamond Field on 3/4/26. The Pirates got on the board in the bottom of the 1st inning after the Sharks committed an error, and the Pirates scored on a wild pitch. The Pirate team added to their early lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Nolan Ange singled, scoring 2 runs, and Caden Freedman hit a sacrifice fly, scoring 1 run. The Pirates scored 5 runs on 3 hits in the bottom of the 5th inning. Christian Alfonso doubled, scoring 1 run, and Nicholas Leal singled, scoring 2 runs batted in. With a lengthy lead, the Pirates easily dispatched the Sharks 12-1.

Ange started on the hill for the Pirates and went 3 innings, giving up 1 run and striking out 5. At bat, Reid Morris led the team with 2 hits in 3 at-bats.
