Chinese New Year Luncheon

Shelby Fontana (lk)
International Program Coordinator Shelby Fontana held the annual Chinese New Year Celebration for international students on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. “This event is an important tradition in Chinese culture. Understandably, they miss their family and friends back at home, so we just hope they feel the support and best wishes from their second family here—the Saint Edward’s School community!” said Mrs. Fontana. The international students were joined by Dr. Bao’s Chinese language learners, as well as some special guests from faculty and administration, to help usher in the year of the Pig. Chinese New Year officially began on February 5 and ends February 19. Undeniably, a “crowd favorite” every year are the delicious Chinese dumplings from Shandong Noodle House!
