Second Annual Book Day a Great Success

MJ (lk)
The second annual Book Day was Thursday, April 4. This day is a unique opportunity for US students to experience seminar-centered learning in a college-like setting. They choose their classes in advance, and best selling author, former Denver mayor and Cuban immigrant Guillermo Vidal, talked about how being a part of "Operation Peter Pan" affected his entire life's trajectory.

Mrs. Feliciano would like to "Thank all of the faculty for their support, and especially Omar Shareef,  Will Johnson, Anand Chundi, Cameron Pugh, and Emma Fini for extra work and willingness to lead the Book Day yesterday. They did a fantastic job as presenters and earned our admiration for it. Omar helped with registration as well and used his incredible talents to navigate through the complexity of mathematical algorithms to create registration forms for us. Special thanks go to all choir members who helped with the closing ceremony and graced us with beautiful music."
