First Impressions of 8th Grade

Even though I have been in the middle school since 6th grade, I still get nervous on the first day of school, and I still get concerned about my locker, getting to class on time, and where to sit at lunch. However, there are a couple of tips I have picked up along the way like starting the morning off with a nutritious breakfast, packing everything up the night before, and getting work done asap. When I walked in classes, my friends and the teacher’s warm, welcoming smiles, made my nerves disappear immediately. There were also many enjoyable activities! I am so excited to keep progressing and see what else the middle school has in store for the rest of the year!
