View from a Middle School Student

As fall sports fade away, winter sports have just begun to start up. Middle school students have the choice to either play basketball or soccer. Girls may also participate in weightlifting. In the first weeks of practice, the teams work on their fundamental skills and get to know their teammates. Eighth-grade soccer player, Abigail Sylvia, comments, “I think this is going to be a great season because we have a great group of girls and lots of potential.” Good luck to all of the middle school Pirates on the basketball and soccer and weightlifting teams!
