Eighth Grade Boys Basketball Victorious in Consecutive Matchups
The eighth grade boys basketball team recently wrapped up their regular season with back-to-back wins over Community Christian Academy.
On 1/9/20, the Pirates played the Cougars at home in the Wachter Activities Center and defeated their opponents 41-14. The Pirates then traveled to Stuart for a rematch on 1/10/20, where they overcame the Cougars 49-17.
All players contributed to the double victory in the scoring column. Scoring in double figures for the Pirates in both games combined were Reed Sternberg (17 points), Luke Damiani (16 points), Kieran Colgan (13 points), Will Russell (12 points), Owen Miller (10 points) and Harrison Hardin (10 points).
