Letters to Foreign Embassies

Kelly Fykes
Sixth grade kicked off their big Global Expedition project a few weeks ago. Each student was randomly assigned a country to learn about throughout the semester. Students will research a wide variety of topics about their countries in Skills, History and Science classes. One of the first tasks in Mrs. Fykes' Skills class is to write a formal letter to the embassy of their country requesting information. Students learned how to write a formal letter and address envelopes. The letters went out this week, and now the students are anxiously awaiting their responses. Fingers crossed we get some mail soon!
