Triumph for Varsity Basketball Teams on Senior Night
On 1/28/20, both the varsity girls and the varsity boys basketball teams celebrated Senior Night in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Lady Pirates took on Morngside Academy for the first game of the evening and soundly defeated them 35-12.
Scoreboard highlights for the Lady Pirates: Elise Mallon, 11 points; Zion Atwater, 10 points; Alexa Soderman, 8 points; and Jayla Brown, 6 points.
Following the Senior Night presentation in between the games, the varsity boys basketball team then faced Morngside Academy for their own match-up. In a crushing defeat, the Pirates walked away victorious over the Eagles, 60-31.
